Laser Engraving Services
Our large format laser equipment can engrave any images and photographs into mirror, wood, acrylic , marble, glass, chrome, granite, Corian and even on coated metals with high quality up to 48” x 96”.
2-D laser engraving can be effectively achieved at full speed on our laser systems. The resolution used to laser engrave will determine the quality of the finished artwork. Typically Laser Engravers use a resolution between 150 – 600 DPI (dots per inch) while engraving.
Marking leaves a contrasting color on metals by application of a water-based chemical. Etching removes the surface of the material, no depth of engrave.
Special software will automatically convert gray scale image into a Tiff file with the best resolution for the material being used. Photographs with good contrast between the image and the background work the best to engrave. Metal can be marked and etched with a CO2 laser. Water-based chemicals are available to coat the metal and will leave a semi-permanent mark where the laser beam has touched the surface of the metal. Some metals that can be marked are aluminum, carbon steel, stainless steel, chrome, brass, copper, nickel and tin - a 4'x8' sheet of material will fit comfortably onto our large cutting table.

F.A.Q.
- What can laser etching be used for?
Laser Etching can be used for an endless number of applications, on a wide variety of materials.
- What are laser application size limitations?
Our maximum working area is 48.00" x 96.00". However, we offer Large Format Application options that can expand the working area.
- Are there limitations on material thickness for laser cutting and engraving?
Yes, but only for laser cutting process - please refer to our Materials tab on this page for more details - there are no such limitations for laser engraving, etching or marking applications.
- Can you expedite my project?

- Can you ship to my home? Internationally?
Yes we can. Residential or international shipments require some special consideration but our staff can guide you through this process to ensure safe and accurate delivery!
- Is laser etching/cutting expensive?
Pricing is based mostly on machine time which can vary depending on the size of the project and frequency of the order. However, our state of the art laser system is flexible and efficient, allowing us to be competitive for almost any project to full scale production, our system is affordable to all budgets.
- Why should I use laser cutting instead of water jet or other traditional cutting methods?
Laser Cutting Technology is very precise (In our case within .001" or 1/4 the thickness of a piece of paper) Laser Cutting Technology is also a lot faster, cleaner, and does not require tooling changes.
- Can I supply my material for you to cut or etch?
Yes you can, but we may need some extra material to set up the proper parameters prior to running your final parts.
- What payment methods do you accept?
